The new Grand Cru long reach (47-57mm) caliper brakes are super stiff, perhaps the stiffest long reach brakes ever made. The dual pivot design offers superb modulation and power, just what you want on a steep mountain descent. The pivots are also very smooth. The finish is hand polished, but not anodized; that way they can be re-polished 25 years down the road and look great forever. The included shoes come with good quality black pads and they take standard Shimano-type replacement pads. Price is per pair.
