These sewn-on top tube protectors will help protect your frame from damage. They are made from very durable cowhide leather that has been treated by the process of oil tanning. It's perfect for being exposed to the elements and urban environments.

Thick waxed thread, special blunt-point harness maker's needles, and comprehensive illustrated instructions are included.

The cover is long enough (55cm) to fit almost any length tube, but is easily cut down with sharp scissors. The 25.4mm size fits most classic steel bikes (with 25.4.mm diameter tubes); the 28.6mm size is for bikes with modern steel tubing.

Note (1): Leather is a natural and irregular material, so colors may vary slightly from those shown in photos.

Attractive and Practical

It actually looks better in person than in the photos. I bought two colors, light brown and brown, and am glad I did because one was definitely nicer with my bike colors than the other. Gave the second one to a friend. Would recommend this leather cover.

unfortunately I haven't had a chance to install it because I found a crack on the frame I was going to put it on. once the crack is repaired and I repaint the bike I'm sure it will be at home on the top tube.
