Tidy look and super functional.

I had a cable end that had completely frayed -- the individual strands had unraveled to the point where I thought the entire cable would need to be replaced.

After manually twisting the strands, I used one of these to bind them together and was impressed by how securely this clamped everything into place.

After years of using the traditional crimped on cables, I saw these used by Russ on Path Less Pedaled, I thought I'd give them a try. Ended up better than expected.
I have a set of Paul Engineering Klamper cable actuated disc calipers in anodized purple. The purple colored cherries matched perfectly and create a cleaner cable-end that looks great, too.

Cable ends are something you dont think abou t , But are a part you need ,It protects your cables from fraying ,Gives it a better look and prevents you from stabbing yourself with your cable .
