Randonneur Handlebar

$60.00

The Rando Bar is designed to be an ultra comfortable all-day handlebar for randonneuring, touring, tandems, as well as mixed terrain riding. It has substantial flare for a wide stance in the drops. The bend is traditional, round, and open. The area behind the hoods is long and flat with loads of real estate to move your hands around. The drops are long so you can slide you hands well back.

The center section is highly polished with a pair of Grand Cru Crests adorning the sides of the clamp area. The area under the bar tape has a bead blasted finish.

This bar has a drop of 130mm and reach of 120mm. Available in 42, 44, 46, 48, and 50cm sizes measured from center-to-center at the drops; there is 60mm of flare.

Specs:

  • Stem Clamp: 26.0mm
  • Grip: 23.8mm
  • Drop: 130mm
  • Reach: 120mm
  • Flare: 60mm

Best drop bar I've ever used

I've been a longtime devotee of the Nitto Noodle bar, but decided to give this one a try, a while back. I never liked the randonneur shape, but this bar is a bit different. The ends don't flare quite so drastically, and therefore the flat portion of the bar is nice and wide. I have it in a 48, now, and am about to order it in a 50, because -- well -- I'm one of those "wider is better" people. I highly recommend this bar, for sure.

My favorite handle bar

I have the VO Randonneur bars on several bikes. They are my favorite and most comfortable handle bar. Fit and finish are excellent.

Really great bars at a good price

I bought these bars a few months ago and absolutely love them. My wife tried them (we ride the same size frame) and she insisted we get more for her bike.
There may be a tandem in our future; guess what bars we'll be using?
