Stem and handlebar are not compatable

The stem was marked 26.0 but it must have only been 25.4. I destroyed the randonneur handlebar trying to get it to fit. Now they are pretty much both ruined.

Replacing a Nitto Pearl

I have a racing geometry Waterford that I bought new 20-ish years ago. Great bike, but I really needed to get the bars up higher for my old-ish body. I have a really small frame (49 or 50) so a longer stem is just too high. This seems just right and has at least as good of a finish as the Nitto.

Does its job and looks good doing it

Yeah, I needed to replace one of those sketchy Modolo aero stems on my road bike and this did the trick! It's aluminum, shiny, and won't fail at random! Full marks.
