Grand Cru Noir Drillium 110 Fluted Double Crankset, 34x48t
Back in the day racers drilled holes in their chainrings to make them lighter. The weight savings were minimal, but they sure looked cool. Our Drillium Crankset recaptures the look while upgrading to modern manufacturing techniques and tolerances. Check out the color-contrasting, precision chamfered drillings.
Cold forged from 7075 aluminum alloy. The rings are thicker so they don't flex as on classic cranks. The outer rings have modern shifting aids such as ramps and pins, so shifting performance is much improved. All stainless hardware with allen head nuts/bolts. Includes aluminum machined dust caps and BB bolts. Dust caps function as self extracting crank hardware.

This cranckset is beautiful and finely built. The only reason It doesn't get five stars is that there isn't similar crowns of different sizes.
The second row of drilled holes on the big ring is unnecessary, either eliminate or
skip the drilling on the small ring, I think it would look less busy and cost less to produce too. Looks like a high quality crankset that suits my need, haven't mounted yet but I'm sure it works fine just like the Grand Cru 50.4 crankset that I have for over 10 yrs and still going strong.
Haven't installed this crank yet but it looks great and I am looking forward to trying it out.
