The Velo Orange Fixed/Free Rear Hub is unlike any other flip/flop hub. It features threading that is long enough for a singlespeed freewheel cog on either side of the hub. Likewise, you can also thread a fixed cog/lockring on with the included spacers to get your chainline dialed in.

The hubs come spaced at 120mm, but also include spacers to make them 126mm, 130mm, and 135mm to work on a variety of frames such as track, vintage road, road, and touring.

The hub features high quality sealed bearings and a high polish finish. The axle is chrome plated for durability and hollow to save a little weight. Proper track nuts are included.

32 hole drilling only.

Proper hubs

I love everything about these hubs, the bearings are super smooth, the finish is beautiful, they will fit most frames, and the fact that you can run fix/free, fix/fix or free/free with their threads. Truly a perfect hub, at least for myself. And an absolute bargain for the quality.

A fix gear fix

Years ago I had a double sided hub for my early spring training rides. When I got pooped, I simple turn the wheel around and rode a leisurely ride home. So to build up a new double sided hub, I went to Ebay but found old hubs that were as bad if not worse than mine. Do you have any idea how silky smooth the bearings are in Velo hubs? On top of that, they are a thing of beauty. Ingeniously, these hub not only fit standard track bike spacing, but allows for converting a road bike to fix/freewheel spacing. My 'tip of the hat' to Velo Orange.
