Reusable, ergonomic, and cute.
These Cable Cherries by Forager Cycles are a pair of 7mm diameter spherical aluminum cable ends that utilize a set screw to pinch your cable, instead of a crimping tool, pliers, a rock, etc.
Not only do they make cable tension more easily adjustable out on the trail, they are reusable, and add some fun touches on an otherwise overlooked part of your bike.
Price per pair. Includes tiny Bhondus hex key for installation.

Tidy look and super functional.
I had a cable end that had completely frayed -- the individual strands had unraveled to the point where I thought the entire cable would need to be replaced.
After manually twisting the strands, I used one of these to bind them together and was impressed by how securely this clamped everything into place.
After years of using the traditional crimped on cables, I saw these used by Russ on Path Less Pedaled, I thought I'd give them a try. Ended up better than expected.
I have a set of Paul Engineering Klamper cable actuated disc calipers in anodized purple. The purple colored cherries matched perfectly and create a cleaner cable-end that looks great, too.
Cable ends are something you dont think abou t , But are a part you need ,It protects your cables from fraying ,Gives it a better look and prevents you from stabbing yourself with your cable . Cable cherries do all these things ,Plus give you a convienent handle so you can adjust your cable tension to adjust your brakes ,Plus look way cooler than a traditional crimp style cable end .So glad I stumbled onto cable cherries and it makes me happy a local company carries the parts you need .
These look better than crimped cable ends. The finish seems good. They double as a good handle for tensioning the cable during adjustment. Gold is toward the bronze end. Looks good.
