I needed something to keep my foot from popping up when I hit potholes and big bumps. I have heel slings on my recumbent trike but a good bump will lift my foot up and out. I didn’t want another strap where i couldn’t get my foot out in case of a roll or accident. These are deep enough for my 510’s, and let me just slide in and out from the side with a tiny bit of room but still hold my toes down even on the worst bumps. Happy and safe feet now.

These clips are as beautiful as they are practical. They look like they could have come stock on my '69 Raleigh Pro, and they position my foot better than the original Brooks clips. Just what I was looking for.

Safer than full clips for city riding, but you still get to add force to your forward pedal without slipping off. A very happy medium.

These toe clips are perfect! Previous clips wouldn’t let my foot go far enough forward so the ball of my foot wasn’t over the pedal. That was no good. These give my shoes plenty of room. I had begun to hate the straps on my old toe clips and am so glad I found these. I don’t ever want toe clips with straps again. These really are ideal for me!

So glad to see that these are back. I ride exclusively with half clips and the classic VO half clip has become my favorite. I have them on two bikes. Will be buying an additional set soon. Wouldn't mind a set in Noir although the finish may not be practical.
