These classic facetted-style aluminum fenders are based on an old French design. They have a simple, yet elegant pattern that's lovely on both classic and modern bikes. They're 45mm wide, designed for 700c and 27" wheels, and work with tires up to 37mm wide. We include a hardware kit to work with almost any type of mounting in the same finish as the fenders.
- Fenders are made from aluminum alloy for strength while staying lightweight
- Rear fender is 120cm long and the front is 90cm long
- Both come pre-drilled for stays. Front is pre-drilled for a fork crown mount
- Hardware kit includes: 5mm polished aluminum stays, R-clips and screws, L bracket, reinforcement plates, stay-to-fender closed eyelet bolts, fork crown daruma, sliding bracket, leather washers, and detailed installation instructions
Velo Orange fenders are designed to be full coverage, which means that you and your bike's drivetrain will stay clean of road muck and grime. Both front and rear fenders have full wrap around the width of your tires to eliminate spray in all directions.

They look beautiful, are sturdy and provide great protection. I love them!
With the Fall well and truly upon us in the Pacific Northwest I thought a new set of fenders would spruce up my 1990 Schwinn Crosspoint. I am a daily commuter and have really appreciated the extra protection these full fenders provide. Plus they look great. Installation was easy enough. The only issue is that my front derailleur cannot shift to the largest chainring. That isn't too big a deal as commuter bike but might be more annoying for others. I have read that some derailleurs might give enough clearance to allow full shifting.
I'm not a fan of the hammered fenders, and I really didn't want the smooth round either. I was very pleased with the old school look I got from the facetted fenders, perfect for a fifty year old bike. Thanks VO!
Just got them installed. Giving them a 5 for now for how they look on the bike. Would have liked some extra eyelet bolts. Will update once I ride them.
I'm so glad you asked me for this review. I absolutely love these Facetted fenders . I was afraid at first , to try a design other than the smooth round fenders I had installed on all my other bikes , but I took a chance because I was putting them on a rare Gitane tandem with Reynolds 531 tubing , and your ad said the fenders were of an old French design, so I thought the match would be nice. When I took them out of the box, I liked them right away. It's hard to see in your pictures that the sides are not facetted but rounded , and only the crown of the fender has the facets. That combination looks brilliant. On the bike, those three facets running the length of the fenders catch the light and make the fenders shinier and brighter in more places while looking at them than the smooth round ones. Also , since the aluminum is not coated or anodized , you can really shine them up nice with aluminum polish.I am very glad I took the chance and bought the facetted fenders.
