The Rough Stuff Fellowship is a UK-based cycling club that has been riding bikes off-road since the 1950s. And we don't mean off-road like crushed gravel or across a grassy field. We mean "going for a walk with my bike" because there is a mountain in the way of the next semi-rideable trail.
Further Adventures in Rough Stuff is the second volume of photos and stories from the Rough Stuff Fellowship.
This book brings together new photos and more stories from all over the UK and around the world. The new book is broken up into four sections: rides in Scotland, England, Wales, and the rest of the world. Ride descriptions taken from the RSF newsletter range from riding across Cornwall and Devon in the UK in the mid 1960's to riding in the Rocky Mountains of the US in the early 1980's.
This is an excellent companion to the first volume and an inspiration to those cyclists trying to find the lesser trodden path out there.

I've really enjoyed both Volumes 1 and 2 of the Rough-Stuff Fellowship Archive. Lots of the photos show great scenery and "underbiking" at its best, with folks riding and walking narrow-tired three-speeds, 10-speeds, and fixed gear bikes on mountain tracks, and in other locales, in all seasons. The books are a great inspiration for finding your own rides off the beaten track, on most any bike that you own.
