These are used to hold water bottle cages on bikes without braze-ons. They work best with cages that have an elongated mounting area and only on non-oversized frame tubes. They will not work on cages with short mounting tabs, like our current Velo Orange cages.

Made of zinc plated steel

Comes as a pair (enough for one bottle cage).

Should Have Kept Looking

These clamps worked for what I bought them for. I had in mind something with 5mm threaded lugs to take screws holding my WB but missed seeing what else VO can supply. But, being ‘handy’, I had a plan that worked out just fine! The result isn’t particularly aesthetically pleasing but fully practical for use!

It works

Rebuilt a mid/late 80s Trek 510 frame. The seat tube lacked bottle bosses and I wanted to carry a second water bottle for long rides. These clamps worked well. Note that they lack padding or any protective layer. I applied a strip of electrical tape onto the metal clamps before installing so they wouldn't scratch or damage the frame. The clamps aren't particularly elegant but they're a decent, inexpensive, and easy-to-install solution.

Old-school solution, but it works!

A simple solution for a bike that lacks braze-ons. Might be nice if the clamps were rubber backed, reinforced at the bolt holes, and maybe had more length to accommodate oversized tubes, but it does its job well enough.

Worked really well for my vintage road bike

These clamps looked and worked great on my 1979 Centurion Elite. I also have a period bottle cage that made the whole package look factory. One thing I did before installing, was to put vinyl tape on the bottom of the bands, so they were softer on the down tube.
