I really like how these minimalist bottle cages look on the bike. AND, they hold the bottles firmly in place.

This bottle cage is lovely, and it looks gorgeous on my Polyvalent Low Kicker with lots of silver components and accents. The problem? My bike is my daily driver and commuter, and I don't usually carry a water bottle, and sometimes I wear pants with wide legs, and sometimes I don't roll up the left leg, and sometimes my pants catch on the cage and twist it. In fact, the catching happens so much it's tweaked the cage, which means it's now even easier for my pants to catch. I know I can bend it back, but the design isn't practical for my wide-leg-pants lifestyle. So, buyer beware: this is a lovely water bottle cage, but not for you with flappy pants.

These are some of the sexiest bottle cages I've ever seen, and they look great on my bike. They also retain bottles really well... too well. This probably wouldn't be an issue on a bigger frame, but on my size 54, it's a bit tricky to get a bottle in and out of the downtube cage. It's even harder to get my travel mug in and out. Oh well, guess I'd rather too much retention than too little.

The lines and materials of these beautiful cages make them as home on a brand new bike as they would be on a vintage classic. Purchased these cages to accommodate the also beautiful Klean Kanteen stainless water bottles. They are one of the only choices, as those long bottles require no tab at the top of the cage to secure properly. The fact that the cages are also beautiful is just a great bonus. Rattled a bit at first, but gave them a good squeeze and now they hold snug. Love them so far.
