Here's a vegan-friendly saddle designed for folks who keep their handlebars at or above saddle height. The idea was to make a wider and lightweight saddle that feels something like suede and has a classic appearance thanks to a microfiber top. In addition, there are loops for a saddlebag.
At 165mm wide it's about the same width as a Brooks B17 leather saddle. But this is somewhat deceptive because there are no rivets or a flaring leather "skirt." So the sitting area is comparable to a slightly wider leather model. At 425gm the weight is significantly less than that of a modern leather saddle. Length is 282mm, about the same as a Model 3.
The microfiber's texture keeps you from sliding around and it's weather resistant. The body is thermo-plastic with a layer of high density foam. The rails are chromoly.

As in other reviews I appreciate the "non-skid" surface. I don't have a lot of time to break in my two Brooks saddles and I now seem to gravitate to the bike with the MF Touring Saddle. Great products; absolute rapid shipping service and quality metal (have one bike with BB and crank set) - beautiful metal workmanship.
Actually this might be my favorite saddle of all time. In my opinion this saddle strikes the perfect balance between support and comfort. It’s not too squishy, it’s not too hard. It’s just right. I’ve only been using it for commuting so far but I can see how this would be the perfect saddle for longer rides and tours.
My handlebars are lower than my saddle and I still find it incredibly comfortable. I was a little apprehensive at first about purchasing a “grippy” saddle since since I had never ridden anything like it. And yes, this saddle is very grippy and it took me a few miles to get used to it. Especially in stop and go situations where I was in and out of the saddle. But now that I’m used to it, I love it.
For the price, I think this is an absolute steal and I actually purchased two more for my other bikes.
I highly recommend this saddle
I've been looking for a saddle I can use for general riding and shorter bike tours on my 1989 Schwinn Impact, without having to wear a chamois, and I finally found it! Others have said it, but I would agree that comfort feels somewhere between a Brooks Cambium and a broken-in leather saddle. I've put 200miles on it in the past 2 weeks, a couple shorter rides and a 130mile 2-day tour. After the tour I was a bit sore, but definitely less sore than most saddles leave me. Overall it's a great looking saddle, light enough, has saddlebag loops, is very comfortable, and it's very affordable. My only complaint is with the microfiber cover; I have no problem with it while riding, but it soaks up water if it rains, going to sit on a soaked saddle isn't fun (I should only need a rain cover for leather saddles). For reference my sit bones are 144mm, my forward lean on the bike is about 45 degrees, and handlebars maybe an inch higher than the saddle.
Works and feels exactly like the description. I’ve never had a brooks saddle, but I would imagine this does a good job of replicating the comfort of one.
I took that risk and decided to try out the VO microfiber saddle on a recent vintage bike refresh. After 100 or so miles on the saddle I can attest to the fact it's comfort rating is solidly between a broken In B-17 and C-17. The VO was perfect out of the box.... does that mean it will get even better? I'll have to wait and see. At less than half the price of a brooks saddle I am already considering another for my next project.
