These are used to hold water bottle cages on bikes without braze-ons. They work best with cages that have an elongated mounting area and only on non-oversized frame tubes. They will not work on cages with short mounting tabs, like our current Velo Orange cages.

Comes as a pair (enough for one bottle cage).

lost finish and rusted in under 2 years

Velo Orange products are generally great - the bottle cage clamp finish discolored and rusted in under 2 years, even though the bike is garage kept and rarely ridden or wet. Had to toss and buy another brand.
Also, material is thin and warped at the bolt holes when clamps were tightened - bolts rusted too. Used on 1977 crome moly standard size frame (Viscount).

Thanks for the review. We haven't had any reports of rusting, so if you can send over any pics, that would be great. I like our Hinged Bottle Clamps as an alternative.

Like the originals

Perfect for the older type bottle cage with tabs, they clamp around the tabs and frame. Just like the originals I used to have.
