Ben is the founder of the Evergreen Gravel Racing series and was looking for a dependable, durable, and sporty platform to build his next gravel and mixed terrain bike. He picked up a Pass Hunter and built it up with all sorts of ENVE, SRAM, and Ultradynamico goodies. "Evergreen Gravel Racing is based in Olympia, WA (Steh-Chass territory) and was formed in 2017 centered around a mid-winter 100 mile gravel adventure race, as well as several group gravel rides throughout the year. The goal of EGR is to host a world-class adventure cycling event, while maintaining accessibility to racers of different goals and backgrounds so that we can all share a rich experience.
2021 brought with it our fifth annual and a unique set of challenges due to COVID 19. Nevertheless, we continued to grow and welcome new racers to our event who are hungry for a challenge and also want to build community within the sport. As we continue growing, I hope to see you at next years race.
