This neat little eye-bolt hooks over your front brake bolt and extends down inside the fork crown. It thus allows perfect mounting of your front fender even if you don't have a threaded fork crown boss. Very clever!

Does the job perfectly, but I had to cut a couple of thread pitches off to give more tyre clearance.
Excellent solution but a longer version/option is needed.
The front fender mounting tab was missing (broken off) from my vintage Ross bike. There was no way to mount the fender without the Fork Crown Bolt. I was always keep one in reserve!
A longer version of this needs to be made available.
This gizmo came with my fenders, and I tried to use it to mount my front fender, but the screw isn't long enough--only one or 2 threads poke out below the rubber washer. I'm going to have to use an L bracket which is a less-clean solution, so I wish this had a longer option.
