Kashima Coated Brakes 

You’ve probably seen Kashima Coat on suspension fork stanchions, but it isn't just about bling. Kashima Coat is a proprietary treatment from Miyaki Corp in Japan that infuses self-lubricating properties directly into hard-anodized aluminum. According to Miyaki, it provides up to four times the wear resistance of standard hard anodizing and significantly reduces sliding friction without needing oils or grease. This specialized coating is now available on Growtac Brakes for both Flat and Post Mounts!

In real-world terms? The performance is phenomenal. The coating fills microscopic surface pores, creating an ultra-smooth interface. Paired with Growtac’s already impressive stopping power, these feel snappier, modulate more evenly, and shed trail dust effortlessly.

Blips Equal Shifters

Did you ever think you’d see Velo Orange repping wireless beep-boop shifting?

The biggest headache with current SRAM AXS setups is the lack of modern, cable-actuated brake options. Growtac solved this with pure engineering cleverness: they modified their Equal Control Lever bodies to mount SRAM Blips (the compact remote buttons usually tucked under bar tape or on aero extensions).

The result? Mechanical cable-actuated braking paired seamlessly with wireless electronic shifting. They work exceptionally well - and as someone currently dealing with ligament hand pain, the light, effortless shift action on the left side has been an absolute blessing while healing.

Equal Dropper Lever

We’ve been bugging Growtac about this one for a long time. Most drop-bar dropper levers on the market leave a lot to be desired - they’re awkward to reach from the hoods unless you have massive hands or the drops without moving your hands (something you don't want to do on a descent). 

Growtac repurposed their inner shift paddle specifically to pull a dropper cable. It operates smoothly from a natural hand position, drops your post quickly, and returns straight to neutral. Clean, simple, and ergonomic.

Equal Road Pedals

While I personally spend most of my time riding in flats and Crocs, many of you have been asking for these. Made in Japan, these road pedals are built with watchmaker-level precision. The finish is gorgeous and the sealed bearings spin like butter.

When we saw revealed them at MADE, they drew huge interest from riders struggling with bike fit issues. Everything on these pedals is customizable: stack height, canting angle, and cleat rotation can all be adjusted to dial in your exact biomechanics. Plus, they use the ubiquitous Shimano SPD-SL cleat pattern, so replacement cleats are easy to find anywhere.
