At Velo Orange, we’re always on the lookout for bike gear that hits the sweet spot between beauty, utility, and a bit of whimsy. This latest batch of arrivals checks all the boxes. Whether you're dialing in a new build, refreshing an old favorite, or just want to add something unique to your setup, these pieces bring a little extra joy to the ride.

🎏 Prism Pocket Flyer Kite

Yes, it’s a kite. And yes, it’s awesome.

The Prism Pocket Flyer Kite is a fun, ultralight addition to any bikepacking setup or long ride. It packs down small, requires no assembly, and is ready to fly straight out of its pouch. Perfect for spontaneous trailhead hangs, rest day relaxation, or delighting kids at the campsite (your own or someone else's). It’s one of those small, delightful things that turns a break into a memory—and it makes a great gift, too.

🐻 Blue Lug x MKS Bear Trap Pedals

A modern classic in the making.

These Blue Lug x MKS Bear Trap Pedals bring that unmistakable old-school BMX look with the reliability and craftsmanship you expect from MKS. Grippy, stylish, and built to last, they’re just as at home on a crusty commuter as they are on a basket-packed tourer or dirt trail detour. Rebuildable and tough as nails—these are pedals for the long haul, in every sense.

💡 Blue Lug Koma Lights

Small lights, big style.

Designed and made in Japan, the Blue Lug Koma Lights are compact, rechargeable, and full of clever details. They offer just enough brightness for safety, and their minimalist form keeps your setup clean. They come with flexible mounting options, and we even carry an under-saddle mount for a super sleek rear light installation. Perfect for city riders, weekend cruisers, and anyone who appreciates understated design with a purpose.

🇮🇹 ALE Toe Straps

A little piece of Italian cycling heritage.

Handmade in Italy, ALE Toe Straps are crafted from high-quality leather and built to last. They strike the right balance of stiffness and comfort, holding their shape while gradually molding to your foot and pedal over time. Whether you're completing a classic build or just prefer the connection of a toe clip setup, these straps are as functional as they are beautiful.

Do you expect a re-stock of the neutrinos in celery green?

Toe clips and straps, gotta have em, I usually do not fully tighten the straps and keep them loose enough to easily slip my lightweight shoes into but tight enough to lift up with and take my foot’s weight off the pedals on the upstrokes.
