Carlos' Polyvalent - A Bike Named Carmen

Last December I suffered the loss of my mother. She was an adventurous woman who inspired my sisters and I to travel, to be adventurous, and to be kind. She was also a member of the first group of women in the Peace Corps. After her passing, she left me some money for me to do what I love most. So, in her memory, I build this beautiful Polyvalent. I contacted the beardedbikedoc and he did an amazing job with my build. I hand pick every part. She loved gold and I made sure that my velo will have gold touches. So, this is Carmen, my Velo Orange Polyvalent. She rides insanely good and I feel mom is with me in every ride. Thanks so much for making amazing frames and components.

The bike looks great! And it’s a touching tribute to your mom – sounds like she was an awesome person.
