The Seine is the perfect width & sweep for my Big Dummy. I previously tried bars of varying sweep, including the original version of Crazy Bars with a 45 degree sweep, but they all had some level of discomfort.
The Seine put me in a very comfortable upright position. The width gives me a lot of control when my bike is loaded with a child & groceries.
Ergon GC1 grips were a great addition. They really topped off the comfort level. I’m riding 10 - 20 miles without nerve pain now.
I absolutely LOVE these! Never ridden a bar with this much back sweep and was hesitant, but I put these on my surly LHT and they are SO comfortable and nice and wide. They look great and had no flaws out of the box.
So far so good. I prefer the subtly shallower bend of this bar and the long flat section for bag happiness. Not quite used to the additional width and I really do like the really long grip area of the Jones. Also needs a really long stem for the same reach. I think I rustled up a 110 from a 60 or whatever was stock with the Jones. So things to consider. But this bar is a better shape for my wrist comfort and general MTB action. Planning to add bar ends to make it a Crazy Bar clone. After having wrist pain on the GDMBR this summer I just needed a change. This might not be the cure all but I plan to make this bar part of a future build if I move on from my current rig. 10/10
As the title says, I am really enjoying these bars and enjoy the rise and sweep. For me personally, they are a bit wide and I will probably cut down the ends if I choose to continue to use them. Other than that, they mounted easily, don't feel heavy, although they are considered a heavier bar, and they allow for a few different hand positions which is nice. I did have to extend my rear brake cable, but that is an issue of the bike itself and not the bars. Bars arrived quickly after shipping, well packaged, and were easy to install.
