A nice aluminum hanger cable stop with adjuster. It's about 10mm thick so you need that much space under your upper headset nut. It can also be used with an optional shim (not included) which allows it to be clamped to a quill stem.

Cable stops

Perfect, stiff for fast hard breaking, super easy to put on, and looks sweet. Love the little included noodle. Makes the housing sit really nice between lever and stop.

I ordered the wrong size spacers, waiting for the smaller ones.

If only it fit

I should have read carefully, this clamps to the steerer tube as part of the headset stack, not to the stem; and I have a French headset with stack height issues already. So I ordered a Sunlite one, which has nowhere near the finish that this unit dies!
