I purchased these after reading a review on a bike forum site because I was searching for hoods that would fit Mafac levers for my Gitane interclub. These are the ticket, and look great too! They fall a little bit short of being a perfect fit but that’s expected, I’m glad I made the purchase.
I bought these to replace disintegrating, sticky, original hoods on a pair of Suntour Superbe levers. These new hoods are a near-perfect fit on the Superbe levers. They were easy to install, look great, and feel good in hand. A great value at the price, too. Thanks, Velo Orange!
I needed these as replacements for Shimano BL-6208, 600EX brakes. They fit just fine. Truly passable for original. VERY tight to mount but use a bit of isopropyl alcohol to lube them and they go on.
