700c Hammered Fenders, 45mm - Silver and Noir



These fenders feature a classic hammered pattern and are available in high polished silver and smooth Noir. They're 45mm wide, designed for 700c and 27" wheels, and work with tires up to 37mm wide. We include a hardware kit to work with almost any type of mounting in the same finish as the fenders.

  • Fenders are made from aluminum alloy for strength while staying lightweight
  • Rear fender is 120cm long and the front is 90cm long
  • Both come pre-drilled for stays. Front is pre-drilled for a fork crown mount
  • Hardware kit includes: 5mm polished aluminum stays, R-clips and screws, L bracket, reinforcement plates, stay-to-fender closed eyelet bolts, fork crown daruma, sliding bracket, leather washers, and detailed installation instructions

Look great, seem sturdy, KEEP ME AND BIKE CLEAN!

Very happy with these. Instructions aren't as complete as I'd like, but sufficient to figure out what was needed. I have the Black (Noir) in 700x45, on a 2020 Trek Domane SLR. Fit perfectly. Fiddly to get installed and adjusted, but once on, excellent! Did a 100 mile ride today on wet roads (rain had ceased but terribly overcast kept things wet) and my shoes stayed clean and dry, as did the rest of me and the bike! Made me feel better about the negatives of fenders: feet will hit front fender more easily (I adjusted fine; slow starts/turns i.e. parking lot maneuevers, are where it can get you.) Tiny bit of noise if anything touches bike parts (disc brake caliper; can easily bend the offending bits to clear.) Less easy is what to do about my 1UPUSA rack that clamps the wheels to secure bike. Front clears and reaches rubber, but back cannot and must clamp on the fender. Haven't yet determined course, but expect I'll come up with rubber shims between clamp and fender, and maybe something beneath fender at that point to support it. It'll be okay, I think. Last WISH would be for easier on/off method but for full coverage fenders like these, I don't see too much possible there. I do intend to work on the seatstay bolt bits because those were tedious on my setup, with more screws needed for the bike itself (not VELO's fault) and more SHIMS, which are fiddly to keep in place if I take fenders off and put on again. I will surely do that some, since we have a LOT of the year that I don't need them. All in all, I'm happy I chose these!

Great fenders

I love the beautiful functionality of these fenders. Great classic French look. I put these on an early 90’s Bianchi Volpe and there was only drama because the rear rack I have on that bike extends rearward to get panniers away from heel strike and was in the way of the fender stay going to the rear dropout eyelet. Instead of attaching the stay to the rear drop out eyelet, I cut it shorter and attached to the rack itself. These come with enough hardware that I was able to solve my problem. Fantastic product.

They work well and look great, but installing them is a pain in the neck

The worst instructions I have ever seen accompanying a product. Expect to spend hours installing these unless you have prior experience putting fenders on bikes. My recommendation is to send the box directly to your local bike store and pay someone for the time and effort.
If you choose to install them yourself, a word of caution: with disc brakes, you will need to go to the hardware store to purchase additional screws to attach these to the fork.
Warning #2: these require a metal saw to trim the ends of the bars. Expect to go to the hardware store for a hacksaw.

I suppose most fenders will have these issues because fenders are what they are, but it was a painful experience installing them.

Now onto the pros:

They look incredibly good, they work very well for fenders and have kept my body and limbs clean and bike relatively clean for thousands of miles thus far. I am very pleased with their performance.

Customer service is great. Igor responds promptly and he is a down to earth, humble guy.

Look great, fit well

Put these on my Giant Nutra commuter bike. I installed them myself, and while the hardware kit supplied was very extensive, I needed to buy two more stainless steel bolts to mount the rear fender. They look great and are working well so far.

Supremely Sexy

I get compliments all the time on my Peugeot with these hammered fenders. I'm a bit of a punisher on bikes; fenders are no exception. Ya see the issue with smoother fenders is if you dent them, the nick sticks out like a sore thumb. These hammered numbers do an exceptional job at obscuring damage thus HEIGHTENING THY BLING FACTOR. Pain in the rear to install so call your LBS if you're intimidated, lazy or tired.
