They replaced my 7-year old Constructeur Style Rubber Grips, which I also purchased from Velo Orange. The color goes perfectly with my bike’s seat and tube. Very easy to install.

I love these grips, they have a pleasant soft and secure feel, they look nice, they don't cost much. I liked them enough that I bought a second pair just to have around for when these wear out someday. Have them on VO's Granola Bars and personally haven't had any issue with slippage or tears.

These grips are awesome. Very grippy. Also, super cool.

Pros: fairly comfortable and they don’t irritate my nerve damaged hands like a lot of “textured” grips do
Pattern is innocuous looking

Cons: not even close to color matching Brooks Honey color, the main reason I bought them
They won’t stay in place, I constantly have to push them back on the handlebar

The rubber compound may be too brittle (not soft enough). I had three of these split and break after I had them installed in the riser bars I put them on. I’m uncertain what caused the splits since they slid onto the bars easily enough. I’ve had the same issue with Chinese made rubber grips, but never with higher priced ones.
