These E3 tail light brackets are made in Portland, using lasers! They are cut from 5052 aluminium and then anodized. They are designed for E3 tail lights originally - the notch in the bracket allows for the wire to be moved from bike to bike or to another position without having to rewire the entire system. We've found that they are compatible with other lights or mounts that use a 50mm center to center spacing between bolt holes. Upper holes (for mount) use M4 bolt, lower hole (for rack or frame) uses M5 sizing.
This design was made to attach to a rack, seat stay braze-ons, or dropouts braze-ons.
15cm long and 6cm wide. Light and blinkie mount not included.

This bracket holds up better than the one provided with my rear seat post rack. I just took it on a weeklong ride, including about 50 miles of gravel, with no issues. Thanks!
would be nice if also a M6 hole would be available for attachment to the frame
Mounted this on the rear brake cable hanger with a B+M Dyno-mini Taillight.
PS: Rim-brake Polyvalent with Retro-Grouch Downtube shifters is ideal for setting up classic Rinko. I know the modern bike biz hates ‘em-more reason to bring them back.
I used this to attach a tail light to the Camper rack using the female coupling on the rear of the rack. Works perfectly.
As I purchased the bracket for a non- Velo Orange rack, I had to drill out the mounting holes to enlarge them for the bolt size on my electra ticino rack...once that was done, the bracket worked like one would expect it to...once mounted, you just forget about it. No issues whatsoever.
