I have built two of these and I just bought a third frame.
Versatile, attractive and smooth riding.
Frame and fork arrived sooner than expected (always a plus). Tore into the box like a kid on Christmas day. The attention to detail on the brazing, welds and finish is top notch. The frame is still wrapped up, on the hooks, until later this spring when I have time to complete the build. Then, it'll be road tested. Can hardly wait.
The polyvalent is a great do everything frame. Despite being flexible, it still feels reasonable quick and fast to ride. Love the addition of thru-axle & threadless 9/8” head tube.
Received my order within 24 hours (WOW--I know, right?!). I placed it the morning these became available again in June.
A cold hard examination of the problem "How many bicycles (N) does one need?" produces the scientific formula "N + 1"...but it's only theory. It's my third Velo Orange in the past 8 years, yet could the Polyvalent truly be that mythical "One Bike"?
A quick, and then in-depth second inspection after receipt revealed another beauty of a frame, built well to a standard & seemingly as advertised: that's important to me, Joe Internet Consumer, as I'm sure it should be to every Joe or Jane. It says a lot about both the product AND the company behind it, when "consistency" "quality" and "satisfaction" become by-words; just so, for Velo Orange.
I'm putting together a parts package for the build and first indications are I'll remain satisfied (happy even ;). The VO headset & an appropriate IRD Quad bottom bracket installed easily; a quick check of the many starred-thread inserts also continued the good vibes. I'm stoked for the future aboard my Polyvalent!
