The Diamond and Low-Kicker VO framesets are a very successful combination of both the old and the new, but you first need to find a Shimano XT 12mm Through Axle rear hub and a Shimano 105 12mm Through Axle front hub, both of which would utilize Shimano centerlock brake rotors, and then completing the rest of the bike becomes easy-peasy.
