I ride these on my surly steamroller paired with the VO tall stack stem. The reach is very close to the center of the steer tube which makes for responsive handling. I could see these handlebars on an every day commuter, all road style bike. Love ‘em!
The bar is very comfortable and the width is just right for me. The paint job is of very high quality which allows for slipping in and out bar ends, levers and etc. with ease without damaging the paint like most other handlebars.
The only problem i have is the center section of the handlebar flares down too soon from 31.8mm to 22mm, therefore it makes it difficult to mount a light straight, it's always slanted. If it wasn't for this handlebar's awesome paint job i would've rated it 3 starts because of this.
I haven't ridden it much yet but this looks great on my Neutrino with a Cigne stem and the bend works well with my slightly (and increasingly) arthritic wrists. They feel a smidge wide for my short arms but I'll leave it a few months to see what I think before doing any cutting. Good bars, good price, get em!
