The Dajia seatpost is a solid and well-proven single-bolt design. It's also one of the few seat posts still available in several sizes to fit classic steel frames.

The non-notched clamp allows for more accurate tilt adjustment than do many inexpensive seatposts. The finish is polished alloy. The head is integral with the post, not pressed on. All-in-all, it's a pretty nice seatpost that should not be confused with lower-end posts. 300mm length; about 24mm setback; 280g.

It fits!

I am delighted this comes in sizes to allow me to ride the frame I bought in 1973. However, I would prefer a 2 bolt version that made it easier to fine tune the angle.

It locks down as it's tightened so it needs to be broken loose to change it, and you lose the last position in doing so. That makes precision in placement very difficult. But it's very nice once set.

I ordered this seatpost in 2023 and when I first received it everything seemed great, but recently I noticed that on the back of the seatpost there was a perfectly cut to shape silver sticker that matches the seatpost. When I removed the sticker, it revealed a small hole about the diameter of a standard sized screw. It seems like somebody tried to cover this defect with a sticker and it’s probably too late for me to return it now since it’s been about 7 months. Structurally I think it’s okay, but aesthetically, it ruins the visual appeal of my bike. I love velo orange products, but this seatpost may be a hit or miss. Unfortunately for me it was a miss due to the defect I stated.

Hi,
All the Dajia Seat posts have the sticker and hole. The hole is there to release gasses during the welding process and is there by design. Feel free to reach out to us. We are always open to discussion and want you to be satisfied.

Holds my seat

Nice, like aluminum finish holds seat tight does everything it's supposed to.

Good utility Good looks

This seatpost is almost indistinguishable from a Nitto Crystal just is not milled and polished as intensely. It also bears no logos which I like and is about 1/2 as expensive. Really pleased with it so far. I have never been let down by a Velo Orange product yet.

Somehow lost the seat post to my PX10 while it was disassembled.
This correct part arrived promptly and is easy to set the angle.
