Here's a vegan-friendly saddle designed for folks who keep their handlebars at or around saddle height. The idea was to make a lightweight saddle that feels something like suede and has a classic appearance thanks to a microfiber top.

At 154mm wide it's about the same width as a Brooks Swallow leather saddle. But this is somewhat deceptive because there are no rivets or a flaring leather "skirt." So the sitting area is comparable to a slightly wider leather model. At 280gr the weight is significantly less than that of a modern leather saddle. Length is 267mm.

The microfiber's texture keeps you from sliding around and it's weather resistant. The body is thermo-plastic with a layer of high density foam. The rails are chromoly.

My seat in throne

I have my seat put on my bike tha day I got and it works great wight no si gs of would wear out

Great value but…

The seat is great value and will probably be quite comfortable once I have more miles on it, however I am not a fan of the material as it does not allow you to move around on the saddle. This is a preference and not a flaw in this particular saddle.

Great saddle for the price

For just over $20 shipped, this saddle is excellent. The microfiber material keeps my butt in place without being too grippy, and the shape doesn't put too much pressure on either my sit bones or my more sensitive areas (your mileage may vary, of course). Plus, it looks right at home on my vintage bike. Overall, a fantastic value.

Velo Orange Microfiber Saddle - Touring in Brown

I am pleasantly surprised how much I like this saddle. The color is attractive (it's on a cranberry red vintage HardRock MTB), it's comfortable, it even has the tabs I can hang a saddlebag off of. Good deal. I expect Velo Orange will be my go to when I need more gifts to the bikes in my life.

This is my second Microfiber touring saddle from Velo Orange. I really like the streamline design and comfort it provides. Also, the color goes very nice with my latest project.
