Our Zero Setback Seatposts have garnered a lot of popularity with MTBs and bike packing riders for their strength and ease of adjustment.

The seatpost is internally ovalized to reduce weight (295g), and the head is integral with the post, not pressed on as on many modern posts. These factors combined makes for a super strong and light perch.

All forms of adjustment can be done with a single 5mm wrench to the side of the clamping mechanism. Installation instructions can be found here and a short video on assembly can be found here (starts at 31:58) on a build we did.

27.2mm x 400mm. Maximum height (above the min. insert line) is about 300mm. Available in Polished Silver and Noir.

2014 problem still not solved...

"12/17/14, 9:32 PM by 'anonymous': ...Had difficulty with getting the thread of the bolt to connect. ..."
It seems to me that this reference to the screw and thread was not taken up. The very first time I dismantled it, I got the feeling that the steel screw could strip the aluminum thread... This is probably due to the design, the assembly is just as difficult, (by now I tested only with the two small aluminium tubes) the whole fastening system seems to be immediately under tension.
Would give 1 star, +1 star for the nice silver finish.

Beautiful Classic Looking Seatpost

Solid and beautiful to look at, the Grand Cru seatpost appears milled liked a Thomson. The quality feels similar, though the clamping system is obviously different. I have 2 of these and I've found they are a little tricky to mount the saddle to, but with a little patience, the proper technique can be figured out. Beautiful, functional and a solid value.

Beautiful workmanship but PIA to install : even after watching video. Not feeling confident about using my retro leather saddle. Got out a mountain bike seat post from my parts chest and used that.
