The solution I was looking for

Did an IGH-conversion on MTB with vertical dropouts. One month in and the BB performance is great. I was originally worried about imperfect position adjustment causing binding, but it was actually very easy to keep the crank free-spinning. My only disappointment is the adjustment range: I expected to be able to make up the difference of a whole pair of chain links but that is definitely not the case. To be fair I looked back and don't see VO making any such claims about range so I must have assumed wrong. And I was just barely able to make my chain fit at the limit of the BB adjustment. I still think it's a great solution for IGH- or single-speed conversions, but caution that it might require trying other chainring/cog pairings to get the chain length right before using the BB adjustment to fine-tune tension.

Handy Solution

Nice handy solution for vertical drop-out frames to convert to Single Speed.

Fantastic

Installed on a full suspension MTB to adjust Geo slightly, absolutely shocked at how freely the cranks spin, I assumed that this BB wouldn't necessarily spin the best with the adjustments potentially not being perfectly symmetrical, but I was wrong! I'm not sure if the grub screws will be enough to prevent it from slipping during off road use, but only time will tell.
