So far seems very sturdy and has not loosened at all even under a large amount of load. Kept my disc brake single speed build looking clean with no external tensioners.

If you are like us and want every bike to be singlespeed, or want to make some rad klunkers out of old frames that sadly don't have horizontal dropouts, These will do the job. They have moved little if at all under mountainbiking conditions.

Was able to ditch my tensioner on an old aluminum vertical drop-out hardtail I had made single speed. Saved about 1/4 pound, made the effective seat tube angle steeper, and most importantly made it look 10x better.

This thing rules. Installed on my off road machine for SS riding. Enough adjustment to get the chain real nice but you may have to play around with gearing to get optimal chain tension. I’m rolling a 42/19 and it works great on my State AR4130.

Did an IGH-conversion on MTB with vertical dropouts. One month in and the BB performance is great. I was originally worried about imperfect position adjustment causing binding, but it was actually very easy to keep the crank free-spinning. My only disappointment is the adjustment range: I expected to be able to make up the difference of a whole pair of chain links but that is definitely not the case. To be fair I looked back and don't see VO making any such claims about range so I must have assumed wrong. And I was just barely able to make my chain fit at the limit of the BB adjustment. I still think it's a great solution for IGH- or single-speed conversions, but caution that it might require trying other chainring/cog pairings to get the chain length right before using the BB adjustment to fine-tune tension.
