I just purchased my second set of Grand Cru Brake Levers for a Polyvalent build, the first set are on my All-City. I really like the design, appearance, build quality, and the feel of these brakes. Grand Cru Brake Levers are the better option than the same old tired Shimao/SRAM offerings. I highly recommend them, and as always Velo Orange offers great bike components.

These levers and the platform pedals are both exceeded my expectations. Pricey but we’ll worth it! Super light but feel strong and well made.

Snagged these the other day and switched from drops to upright bars and they are great. Strong and good hand feel.

Right. I am surprised at seeing the quite nice casting and finish of the clamp and bracket.
The lever, of itself? Nice enough. I prefer the style of old British, Austrian, Italian, and early Schwinn long and curved gently with either ball-end or not. Often I opt more for the art than engineered mechanical advantage. I have a 2013 PilenSykel GT8 that is beautifully and well engineered, but I really, deep-down, hate it simply because it has a slanted compact top tube that is so common these days. While the architecture is not pleasant for me, the Grand Cru Brake levers and the Velo Orange Milan bars look very much at home however, along with the braided metallic cable housing.
