These two-bolt seat posts have a generous 30mm of setback, among the longest ever. This is very important for those who ride leather saddles that often have little fore-and-aft adjustment due to the short rails.

The VO seatpost is internally ovalized to reduce weight to 301g. The adjustment is from the bottom, and the two-bolt design makes it easy to precisely adjust the seat angle. Also note that the head is integral with the post, not pressed on as on many modern posts. This makes them stronger and lighter.

27.2mm only x 300mm. Maximum height (above the min. insert line) is about 23cm.

Maybe my Kona’s frame’s a bit small for my stature? Dunno… bought off the floor as ‘last year’s model’ a year ago, it proved it’s worth but I never got the seat back quite far enough for my comfort until VOILA! It’s not biking season yet here but when it IS I’m gonna be HAPPY with my seat – finallly – thanks to this Grand Cru Long Setback seatpost! Simply grand!!

In the murky world of dialing in a cockpit, this is Version 3.0 for me, & the Grand Cru Long Setback post REALLY brought it home. I love it every time I look at it & it’s finish is a spot on match for the Golden Pliers/SimWorks Ramble bar out at the helm. Most importantly, it got my chakra riding position aligned. So grateful for this seatpost & all the wonderful VO products✌️

Great Seat Post

Really enjoying the seat post so far! The setback is nice, I was able to get my saddle in a nice position. The two bolt system is on a rocker that adjusts tilt, and can be touchy when adjusting, but if you don’t loosen it too much it works just fine. Only had it for about a month, so can’t attest to its longevity, but I’m sure it’ll serve me well for years to come.

Gran Cru Long Setback Seatpost

This is a very nice item. It has a great finish and is easy to adjust. A micrometer reveals it is ‘to spec’. I have it on my ‘46 Girardengo supporting a Brooks saddle. It isn’t ‘period correct’ but is subtle and functional.
