These two-bolt seat posts have a generous 30mm of setback, among the longest ever. This is very important for those who ride leather saddles that often have little fore-and-aft adjustment due to the short rails.

The VO seatpost is internally ovalized to reduce weight to 301g. The adjustment is from the bottom, and the two-bolt design makes it easy to precisely adjust the seat angle. Also note that the head is integral with the post, not pressed on as on many modern posts. This makes them stronger and lighter.

27.2mm only x 300mm. Maximum height (above the min. insert line) is about 23cm.

Setback seat post

As advertised, sets back my seat for a little more stretch. Nicely made, clean and sturdy enough. I would like a positive seat angle control Like a threaded adjuster as it is a kinda hit or miss as is

Excellent product

I have several Brooks saddles: Team Pro's, B-17's. I had the saddle as far back as it would go on my previous seatpost but I was still riding on the rear metal frame. This seatpost pushed the saddle back far enough that I ride on the leather saddle only. Makes the saddles usable.

Maybe my Kona’s frame’s a bit small for my stature? Dunno… bought off the floor as ‘last year’s model’ a year ago, it proved it’s worth but I never got the seat back quite far enough for my comfort until VOILA! It’s not biking season yet here but when it IS I’m gonna be HAPPY with my seat – finallly – thanks to this Grand Cru Long Setback seatpost! Simply grand!!
