Very easy to install. Nice stretch to the tape make getting full coverage on drop bars real easy. Excellent grip, cushioning and feel. Looks great in white on my vintage road bike. Another Velo Orange masterpiece!!
Its a spacer, it fits perfectly and is a smooth transition to the headset
I have both my gravel bike and road bike wrapped in the Rubbery Handle Bar Tape. I like it for the texture, grip, and cushion. It is such an improvement over the foam-style of tape.
Installed on a 2025 Surly Straggler, using zip ties to attach it to an Old Man Mountain Elkhorn rack on the front of the bike. I’ve carried a full Carradice saddlebag and a camp chair in it with room to spare, and no issues at all! I opted for the black finish to be all stealthy and cool! Added a bungee net to haul the occasional shopping bits.

Very classic constructeur rack and well built! Works well with my set of small panniers and plan to also use it with a saddle/rack bag. Note that unless you plan to attach to a rear fender, you’ll need a rack strut to attach to a seat stay bridge.
