Albert's Bikepacking Chessie

This particular Chessie build began with an email inquiring about our build options and asking for guidance on how to piece together a bike from the ground up. While we offer stock build plans for most of our frames, we are equally excited to work with you to create something truly personal.

In Albert’s case, he needed a bike that could handle the trails and singletrack of Connecticut while remaining fully capable of heading out on multi-day bikepacking adventures.

Once we sorted out the sizing and budget, the real fun began. I pointed Albert toward our Build Ideas page to help him visualize how different components and color combinations come together. After collaborating over email, we landed on the build you see here. It turned out beautifully and is perfectly suited to Albert’s riding style. It's only fitting that this bike is now featured on the very page that helped inspire it.
