What's with the name? It's a simple all-silver polished threadless stem with a 45 degree angle to keep your back and wallet happy. It's perfect for touring or dirt drops like our Dajia Far Bar.
It is a four-bolt face plate designed for 31.8mm bars and 1-1/8" (28.6mm) forks. You need at least 37mm of steerer tube to fit the stem. The stem has a 45-degree rise that results the vertical height of the 90 mm stem being 97 mm and 112 mm vertical height for the 110 mm stem. The design of the stem eliminates the need for a stem cap. Longer compression bolt is included. This stem will not work with the threadless stem adapter and is not to be used with carbon steerer tubes.
- Handlebar Clamp: 31.8mm
- Steerer Clamp: 1-1/8"
- Steerer required: 37mm
- Angle: +45deg
- Weight: 203g (90mm size)
We do offer a shim for 1" threadless forks.

Happy Stem 31.8mm
I now have two of these 90mm stems on different bikes paired with the Dajia Far Bar. Nicely finished, both polished silver and black pair perfect with the respective black and silver Far Bars. Installed currently on Advocate- Seldom Seen drop bar dirt tourer and Surly- Straggler set up for gravel touring.
This is a really nice replacement for the stem on my Radwagon 4. My only gripe is that it's a bit thinner than the aluminum frame on the bike giving a slight "chicken neck" look (lean and long). Other than that it's been sturdy and feels great.
I have back issues and this really takes the strain off. I’ve purchased three happy stems for all my bikes. Indeed my back is happy. Thanks.
