Beautiful finish work - much better than I expected for the price. Overall quality very good. Between the winter weather and some health issues, haven't had a chance to use it for a long ride, but there's no reason to expect any issues. Just the thing to get my handlebar up where I need it without looking goofy!

Installed on my Atlantis, which I ride hard, literally everywhere it can go, with zero slippage on the bars or quill until I crash, then only slippage occurs on quill. Angle is perfect in my opinion . As usual VO did a good job. Quick turnaround on orders also.

Beautiful fillet welds / brazing ... usually only found on high -end custom stems . Chrome spectacular. Time will tell how good a job was done there . Kudos to Velo Orange for offering such an incredible deal

I replaced the stock 110mm aluminum stem on my 1990's carbon trek 2300 to try something shorter with increased handlebar height for additional comfort. I'm not sure if the comfort was worth the added weight, but I will not reduce my rating due to a personal preference. For something as ultra light weight as a nearly full carbon bike (sans aluminum fork, chain stay, and stem), something as minor as a steel stem DID make a notable difference. Just a heads up to the weight nerds out there. Great craftsmanship behind this stem though; VO intent to make biking accessible and fun through high quality components is crystal clear.
