Bike Build Ideas
Let customers speak for us
from 4088 reviewsI went without a water bottle cage for years. I’m car-free and commute by road bike. I built my bike back in 2020 and similar to my thoughts on a kickstand (no way) I just wanted a clean look. I saw the larger (Nalgene) version of this on YouTube and after some researching found out that Velo sells them and had a smaller version. While I am sacrificing the space where my leather lift would be to access the eyelets — it’s all good since my commute doesn’t involve the subway now that I’ve left SF. 10/10 but no surprise Velo never disappoints.

I'm really glad you carry this. Even the nice Paul cable stop does not have the well-designed q/r function.

Great looking retro cable housing that blends in perfectly on a vintage bike. The only gripe is that you need to be careful selecting the spot to cut, so it's nice and even.

The Sabot pedals are perfect in every way; they have a good -sized platform, a beautiful finish and the advantage of reflectors. I like them so much I’m ordering another set for a different bike.

Beautiful to look at. Easy to install. Just the right length, and basically perfect!

I have put many miles on the Velo Orange English, French, and even Italian threaded bottom brackets I have purchased for several bikes. When renovating a vintage frame to be a true rider, this is a wonderful option for the value.

This should really be updated with a sleek removable faceplate to increase convenience. Given the riddle rack bears little to no weight, the current design is overkill. This rack should be mobile, moving from one bike to the next as needed without the need to remove your bike seat. A hidden faceplate like the one on the Motus 3TTT or the Cinelli Oyster quill stems would do great in a rack like this.

The kit made it easy and quick to replace the worn cables on my rim brakes. Maybe not the best option if you want your cables to blend into the background, but if you are okay with a bit of sparkle in your life, these are a great option.

I love 'em. Wasn't sure at first b/c they are kinda rad for me, but I'm glad I took a chance. Thank you Velo Orange!

I mounted them on two bikes & working out great for both!
With my older Nishiki frame that I build up with a lot of new VO accessories, I supplemented it with the Pletscher chainstay sandwich set.

Really helping keeping the bike stable during loading & unloading. LOVE IT!

Simichrome is the best metal polish I've used, by far. It polished the 40 year-old components on my vinitage bike that had been in storage for many years, and was looking the worse for it. Now these components look like new (mostly). It won't restore all rusty chrome parts, but it will make them look better.

First time using this product and it set up seper easy as described. Have one ride on it and it is holding just fine. Looking forward to putting some decent miles on it.

I needed a bar that would shorten the reach on a bigger frame I built up. The sweep and rise of this bar was the perfect solution.
